About Ade Artista :
Tell us about your artistic background and experience. What led you to pursue art as a creative outlet?:
My journey into art began in childhood, where I found joy in expressing my thoughts on paper and spent countless hours sketching cartoons. Even in science class, my passion showed, I was always outstanding in biology diagrams, turning every drawing into a story. During the COVID-19 lockdown, while waiting for admission to study biochemistry, I made a bold decision to invest fully in my passion. I committed myself to drawing every single day for one year, sharpening my skill with discipline and consistency before I ever accepted my first commissioned work. Art became more than a hobby; it became my voice, my resilience, and my proof that dedication can transform raw passion into purpose.”
What inspires you as an artist? Are there specific themes or subjects that you find yourself drawn to?:
“As an artist, I am inspired by the desire to use my gift to glorify God, capturing moments, emotions, and memories on paper in a way that speaks deeply to people. Every stroke of my pencil is driven by purpose, to reflect Christ, to tell stories that heal, uplift, and remind others of hope. My art is more than technique; it is ministry. Knowing how God has strengthened me through my journey, I create with the intention that each piece will touch hearts, preserve meaningful experiences, and shine His light wherever it is seen.”

Well, I learn to accept criticism and learn from it. I feel it keeps me driven to work hard and aim for excellent. Without the critics we may not know our mistakes or places that needs improvement.

Yes. I plan to have an art studio in the UK and art gallery. Also an art academy to help young artist out there whose voices are not heard or given the platform. As an artist I know what this means. I tend to achieve this through my academic. When I further for my masters in UK as I already hold in BSc in Biochemistry with a very Good CGPA. Currently I am building my audience and network as an NYSC corps member. So I can be able to ask for grants by certain organizations.
