Tell us about your artistic background and experience. What led you to pursue art as a creative outlet?:
I’ve loved drawing all my life, it’s been my safe space…I can’t see myself doing anything else and I plan to pursue this as a full career but my limitations as been finances, good materials and a proper space
What inspires you as an artist? Are there specific themes or subjects that you find yourself drawn to?:
The things that inspire me as an artist are emotions, culture (African) and faces as well..I love faces, especially expressional faces…I love drawing stilettos too…humans in general are Gods greatest artwork so I see myself drawn to replicating the beautiful humans I see but in my own style.
What do you hope to communicate or evoke through your art? Is there a specific message or emotion that you strive to convey to your audience?
Yes. I want people to see my work and think to themselves “is that a picture?” That is in the context of my hyper realistic drawings…but as for my other artworks, I’d love for my work to inspire young artists to do better as I was also inspired by greater artists.
Are there any particular artists or art movements that have influenced your work? How have they shaped your artistic perspective?
Some artists like Dylan Eakin, Arinze, Kelvin Okafor, Julia Gisella, Eteportraits among so many others have helped to shapen my artistic perspective making me realize that perfection or close to perfection is very possible in art, and practice and consistency can get you there.
How do you handle criticism or feedback on your artwork? How do you use it to grow and improve as an artist?
I simply listen, learn, heed correction and improve
Are there any specific goals or aspirations you have for your artistic career? How do you plan to pursue them?
I know for sure that I plan to pursue this as a career and soon my art and name will be a household name. Will be known as one of the best female artists from Nigeria of not the best….. I just hope for finances to help improve my comfort and fuel my drive
