Tell us about your artistic background and experience. What led you to pursue art as a creative outlet?:
I've been drawing since when I was a kid, and have been topping my class when it comes to art, because of this gift I chose to pursue art .
What inspires you as an artist? Are there specific themes or subjects that you find yourself drawn to?:
I am inspired by some famous pencil artist of our time like Kelvin Okafor the British Nigerian artist, because of that I want to reach that peak that he is, a peak of hyper realistic drawings.
What do you hope to communicate or evoke through your art? Is there a specific message or emotion that you strive to convey to your audience?
Yes, I want to wow people with my talent where a pencil work would look like a picture and would make people wonder how I did it .
Are there any particular artists or art movements that have influenced your work? How have they shaped your artistic perspective?
Someone like Mr. Kelvin Okafor uses his art works to portray the beauty of the skin not just smooth skins but also skins that have been affected either through diseases or accident. Because of that I also want to potray that there's beauty on the skin not just when you've smooth skin. And also I can use my art to build different kinds relationships.
How do you handle criticism or feedback on your artwork? How do you use it to grow and improve as an artist?
It's not easy for me, sometimes I feel like giving up and I spend days not touching a pencil, but the desire within me would not let me to give up, so I pick myself up and draw again.
Are there any specific goals or aspirations you have for your artistic career? How do you plan to pursue them?
For now I plan to draw as much as I can, I aspire for my art works to be everywhere, within my city and other cities and most importantly outside this country.
