About Pillar:
Tell us about your artistic background and experience. What led you to pursue art as a creative outlet?:
I started art when I was very little. I had passion for it, but my parents was not in support of it. Mostly my dad, but I never felt discouraged. For once. My mom saw the hunger and passion of art in me and decided to enroll me in an art course. They were so many challenges cause lI came from a poor background most times my mom does not have enough money to pay. For my course so she goes as far as borrowing a couple of times just to pay so I can learn more on art and what’s led me to pursue art was not for fame or for any materialistic things but for the love and passion I have for it thank you
What inspires you as an artist? Are there specific themes or subjects that you find yourself drawn to?:
My imagination, nature, people and experience all spark idea from me. I’m inspired by the word around me and the stories I want to tell through my art.
What do you hope to communicate or evoke through your art? Is there a specific message or emotion that you strive to convey to your audience?
I hope to communicate inspiration, creativity, and passion through my art. I would love for my audience to feel motivated, uplifted and connected to the story I’m telling with my art.
Are there any particular artists or art movements that have influenced your work? How have they shaped your artistic perspective?
I’m influenced by artist who push boundary and explore new ideas abstract expressionist like Pollock and Kandinsky have inspired me to experiment with color and texture. I would say they’ve helped me tap into my own creativity and find few ways to express myself.
How do you handle criticism or feedback on your artwork? How do you use it to grow and improve as an artist?
Face I believe there is no mistake in art and secondly, each and every art are uniquely made from my imagination, but I’ll always give room for advice so I can be better next time cause no knowledge is a waste and lastly stand on my ground or words if I know the critics is not making a good point
Are there any specific goals or aspirations you have for your artistic career? How do you plan to pursue them?
My goal or aspiration I have for art Korea is to own an art gallery or an art exhibition center and become an art lecturer so I’ll be able to share my knowledge with the world
